The Tobacco Root Mountains are found in the northern Rockies, straddling the Jefferson and Madison Rivers. The most prominent peak is Mount Edith (9,491ft).The highest peak is Sacagawea Peak (9,656ft).The range stretches for about 75 miles in total.
